2016 touche à sa fin, et je ne voulais pas commencer la nouvelle année sans un grand merci à vous tous, les abonnés à ce blog comme les visiteurs occasionnels, pour tous les échanges que nous avons eus. J’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à lire et réagir à vos commentaires, et j’ai essayé de répondre de mon mieux aux questions concernant les sulfites.

Grâce à vous, j’ai encore fait cette année bien des découvertes, et pas seulement culinaires! En parcourant vos blogs, je me suis souvent prise à souhaiter que notre monde soit à l’image de nos relations: amicales, empreintes d’humour aussi (certains parmi vous ont un vrai don pour me faire rire!), diverses mais toujours respectueuses d’autrui.

Je vous présente donc tous mes meilleurs vœux pour 2017!

2016 is ebbing away, and I really didn’t want to start the new year without thanking all of you, those who follow this blog as well as the occasional visitor. It has given me great pleasure to read and reply to your comments, and I have tried to answer your sulfite-related questions as best as I could.

This year has once again been one of many discoveries for me, and not just culinary ones! I have often wished, as I was perusing your blogs, that our world could be as our relationships have been: friendly, sometimes full of humour (I have to admit some of you have a real talent for making my day!), diverse but always respectful of others.

So let me wish you all the very best for 2017!

(Please keep on reading for details in English) Pendant trop longtemps, mon mari a été soigné pour de l'asthme, des allergies saissonnières, des yeux larmoyants et des migraines... jusqu'au jour où nous avons changé d'alimentation, éliminé gluten, produits laitiers et surtout tous les additifs, en particulier les sulfites. J'ai dû réinventer ma cuisine, ce qui m'a incité à faire ce blog où je partage les recettes qui fonctionnent pour nous. Bonne cuisine à tous! For too many years, my husband was treated for asthma, seasonal allergies, watery eyes and migraines... until we changed our diet, eliminating gluten, dairy products and most of all any type of additive, in particular sulfites. I couldn’t agree more, our blogging world has an ethos of friendly support, encouragement and laughter and you are absolutely right… the wider ‘World’ could learn a lot from that and would be a much better place as a result!     1. Thank you for your positive comment, I needed it this morning as I was reading the New York Times — and after listening to the BBC news… Sometimes our world doesn’t make sense at all!

      1. Brilliant Joelle – I watched the news (which I try to avoid most of the time) last night and watching all the stuff around Donald Trump and Brexit.. yep it’s not great. Our blogs are much better places .. I haven’t posted anything new for a couple of days and am ‘on it’ today so hope to having something new on my blog later this morning.. See you soon xx

    1. Merci Cat, tous mes vœux à toi et ta famille. J’ai toujours plaisir à te lire et apprendre de ton blog, tu le sais. Ton calendrier de l’Avent était une super idée (un peu de pub ne fait pas de mal 😉) et tes jeux de mots me font toujours sourire!
